A Blogger Babe

Well I'm not trying to be hip or worldly but the statement is true, just like new converts to Christianity are called Babes in Christ well, I'm new to blogging so I'm a "blogger babe." For over four years during my work in the ministry, I published a monthly newsletter and throught events and cares of the world I was unable to successfully maintain my newsletter but have struggled to get it going again. Since blogging has become an avenue for journaling, I felt that I would take this opportunity to write until I could get back to my letters. The name of my site is Epistles of Love which in essence are Love Letters. Through out scripture the Apostle Paul wrote many epistles to the body of Christ, to encourage, exhort and admonish and this too is my goal. I write mostly to women; however husbands have also found my writing to be encouraging as well as informative concerning the strange and odd struggles of the opposite woman. I look forward to future writing and I pray that as I continue to blogg along that I am able to be a blessing to be a blessing.
The LORD throught His infinite wisdom has blessed me with the desire to write and I found a scripture that so inspires me to write and I quote:
" My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer" Psalms 45:1
What an Awesome scripture to have as a journaling prompt, and so I write and I pray that the LORD will bless us all as we seek to understand the goodness of the LORD together.

Getting To Know Me
I am a pastors wife and mother of seven great children. My oldest child is 25 yrs and the youngest is 5 yrs. I became a stay-at-home mom in 2003 at the birth of my 7th child and became a homeschooler that same year when my husband was call-up to go to Iraq. I am an avid studier of the Word of God and for a hobby I love to do paper crafts and I also dabble in antiques. I lead a womens bible study group and speak at women's conferences and a bunch of other stuff, but you'll get to know those things later. I pray that I'll have an opportunity to know many of you through this site and Lord willing we will be a blessing to one another. AMEN
